You absolutely MUST do it. Make the plans and just go. Life is short and the simple pleasures are it's greatest blessings!

This is where I am lucky
to have one child quite a bit older than the other as he can take his sister on rides. I gave them up at the last pregnancy - something about all those medical issues I had meant that big bad rides didn't feel good.
However it was not that many years ago that I got in a freezing river with a 21 -year-old cousin and between a chasm rising up seemingly to the sky we rode several hundred feet of rapid currents in less than a minute, no wet suits, no boats, no life jackets, just us and on or two other thrill-seekers and ice cold water. "Let's stand in at the edge for a few minutes to get used to the water," my cousin said. "There's no getting used to this, " I said. I wondered if I'll ever feel young enough to do it again.
Gld you recovered well enough to have this day

I would love to go to a carnival.
It has been so long since we did something nice and simple like that.

yikes, I wasn't even on the rides and my stomach is moaning

bel,
What??? No funnel cake? In my expert opinion, funnel cake makes everything better. I recommend you go back to the fair and get some for your aches and pains. :) Seriously, feel better soon. :)

YUK on the cotton candy for breakfast.

Sunny
Actually I don't usually have problems with it. BUT given there was no more than two minutes between the two rides, I came off feeling a bit green around the gills.
