Now that you said that, I believe they were! I had prayed for the teachers to show themselves to me. Thanks for helping me to put it together.

The momentum in physicality tends toward believing all that we see is real. All of our behavior reinforces this view, and impedes breaking through. Thanks for the compliment, although I don't feel much like a guru.

I thought about that, too. Thanks for reading.

It seems as though the very means through which enlightenment is obtained becomes its own hindrance. We focus so blindly on technique that it is not relinquished properly when the moment appears for its relinquishment.

Avant,
We are ultimately responsible...but I have to tell you that your dreams are WAY over my head...Thanks for providing such an insightful translation. Blessings!

Dreams like this give me a lot to think about, Avant-Garde
it's about the only form of knowledge I believe in anymore.

Avant, this definitely was an insightful dream. Do you have any feel that

these two Masters may be two of your Spirit Guides? I love when this stuff happens and I refer to this as one of "the perks of the path!" About ten years ago I awoke suddenly from a sound sleep at 2 am to see my guardian angel hovering at the foot of my bed.  She was pure pink light.  Exceptional writing Avant!

This is very insightful,

You and RkyMtn are quickly becoming my Metaphysical Gurus...LOL!

I DO believe the battle is in the mind. And once something has BEEN for long enough, it becomes a STRONGHOLD that can not be broken without great effort.

avant- ..when I saw your title "2 Masters" I was expecting something
different, but that's ok....thanks for this.....

Avant,
Your approach to seeing things is, as I see, far different than minds seeped in belief ( whatever -right/wrong). And that is why there is a fresh flavour of your own in the words and sense they convey. There are as many worlds as there are minds. Each sees according to one's minds' projection. The vision, so jaundiced by mind, does not allow one to see or believe that the yellow that he is seeing is actually white. Unless one's belief is experiential, he sees Truth with the others' mind - conditioned - and not real. This is exactly what the East has called Maya, or the illusory influences of Natuire. To trenscend Maya is to arrive at the Real, the Truth in its as-it-isness. How ? is of course altogether another subject dealing with the techniques of doing so.
