It's funny now
The way you describe the story I can picture it vividly and I would have been laughing then and now when the story is brought up.
I have a brother and sister I am visiting in Kentucky that I have not seen for 10 years and we are doing a lot of remember whens.

Well he's a tough old guy, I think I would have had a heart attack right there. But I'm older

At his age, I would think a scorpion bite would be dangerous.
If it were me, I'd go to the doctor.

StrickGold, I guess it'a all in what you get used to, I'd be sleeping with

I learned as a kid
to always shake the sheets. It didnt mean that I still didnt end up with a scorpion or spider in my bed, but I dont remember ever being bite.

Yes he is fine - his finger is sore but he's okay. The scorpions have always been bad where my parents live. Just last year one stung my mother on her back in bed. Growing up my brothers and I use to set them on fire, but I guess a new crop is present this year. As many as we killed growing up I am surprised there are any left.

StrickGold, I hope your Dad was okay, and not in too much pain, but the
image of him dancing around must have been priceless! Is he okay?
