Shamsuddin, you raise an intriguing point

"Personally, I want news reporters to expose truth whenever they find it and WHEREVER [sic]"

Okay, but what of the consequences of doing so? Have you stopped to think about the harm done by publishing what is true but also endangering to others? What of victims of terrorists who might have been apprehended had not sensitive "truth" about effective anti-terrorism measures not been leaked?

And what of reporters who publish what is not truth, but rather editorial spin or outright fabrications? Case in point: The Dan Rather memos, alleging Bush's deriliction of duty in the Air National Guard, that were proven to be forgeries.

Ha! Good one. They must be slipping, indeed.
We can no longer trust them as a news source to eagerly defend the rights of terrorists worldwide.
