Preferably the first option, bel, but probably both - knowing me.

Hi, bel,
I'd like to be doing more laughing than crying, not dwelling on mistakes or regrets. Thanks. :)

I would rather say I lived a good life
and made a difference in at least a few of the lives I touched.

Our mistakes can teach us much, if we listen and not judge them.

Interesting question Bel...first choice for myself..
Living is not about sitting still with a heart of fear and/or regret. That is a form of death in itself, imo.

Bel, I have no regrets, not the things done or undone,
this is a new life for me, the old is over, and it's better that way. My dream is to write well, love well, and laugh often.

I'll take option 3...
I did my best, tried not to harm anybody along the way, and learned from mistakes. If I messed up my kids, it gives them something to talk with their friends about... :)

Bel -
For me, risk is everything. We must take risks in order to truly live, so I choose the first option.

The mistakes, definately...
I don't even have to be at the end of my life to do that...I can look back now and have much more regret for the chances I didn't take than the times they didn't work out.

At the end of my life,
I hope to be checking out while in the process of doing one more thing I never have done before.
I will never, ever regret anything.

Number 1 for me, too....
Too many people in this country and several here on blogit want to join the shoulda, coulda, woulda world.......and that leads to depression and extreme self-doubt.

I have to ask the same as Mademoiselle, it seems you missed a word
somewhere.
I don't know that I would want to do either of these at the end of my life, as they both can have negative memories.
I'd much rather look back on the good times, and special moments with special people.

The former. Definitely.
Btw, I'm assuming you meant "at the end of your life", correct?
When Gary told me he had found Jesus,
I thought, "Yahoo! We're rich!"
But it turned out to be something different.
