Lilane, I don't know...I can't get into people's hearts and read their
motives. I know I've failed guys in the past by expressing my love and then flirting with every other guy there was to flirt with. It was just fun and games for me and I didn't mean anything by it, but to them, it made my love null and void. The same has been done to me and it totally made me feel like words meant nothing...so, it all depends on the people involved and what they can or can't handle.

Jealousy is such a useless emotion, why confuse it? You should be mad, not jealous. I don't have a jealous bone in my bone and it thanks me! I wish you good luck and that you don't continue to allow yourself this hurt. Your too much woman for that!

I've learned the hard way that there's only one way to prevent this. Total
accountability and giving one's total attention to the one you love. It's different if it's just friendship, but as soon as someone says "I'm in love with you," things change. All friendships with the opposite sex are now totally in the open and there's no question...the flirting ceases and everyone knows their proper role. I'm now to the point that I think men and women really shouldn't be close friends...that's just me
