Bhaskar.ing - thank you for the kind words
I only hope that I don't let you down in the future.

Hi gomedome, its me once again
I've just been reading the other comments and I fully stand by you. There are so many things in this world that come under the purview of the "Unexplained." It's one among those. Why the dibelief? Without the mysteries the world would be a plain drab place to live. And I quite like the way you send your name-callers to heaven. that's exactly what I called the tremendous conservatism of the human mind in my previous comment, before I read the other mud-slangings.

Your write-ups make a refreshing and compelling reading since they are experiential and so real-life. Also spiced with it is that lovely humorous way of narration. And yes, you have so beautifully exposed the tremendous conservatism of the human brain, that a foolish belief can far overweigh truth even when seen in its reality. This is the blocade, the parochialism of the human mind that prevents him from evolving onto higher levels of existence, this clinging. Thanks a lot.

I agree with you.  Although, I don't really think it would make you look foolish, only make them look childish.

Sunnybeach7 -- the thing is - how foolish would I be to leave it posted?
I can handle anything that anyone wants to say about me but I'll be damned if I'm going to leave insulting derivitives of my user name published on the internet. If they have a point to make, they should try to make it. We can do schoolyard recess some other time.

OFFBEATS - Lourdes is a lot tougher to define

There is not one medically documented case of a true healing happening there, yet thousands have claimed to be healed with many more claiming that their conditions have improved. This has to be a psychosomatic reaction induced by one's belief that it is possible. The visions at Fatima are a little different but in many ways related, in most cases of apparition manifestation, there is an overwhelming desire for it to be so, coupled with a number of other not so noble human traits. Things as simple as wanting attention from the community. Keep in mind that Sister Lucia also claimed to have the wounds of Stigmata. Most stigmatics have recanted their claims as being bogus, admitting that it was done for attention purposes.

Sure you can be a little furry blogger. I'll put your name in the rotation in a few minutes.

I saw that comment too. It always amazes me.  Why do adults have to resort to such childish tactics as name calling?

Name callers aren't nice. Well if Fatima wasn't real, how about Lourdes? It does make you wonder doesn't it? BTW.. I love the way you send blogger to heaven on your post..can I go sometime?

SuccessWarrior -there is more to the story which detracts from credibility
The 2 younger ones dies within a couple of years in the great flu pandemic. You would think that God might have warned her that 2 of her messengers weren't going to be around to deliver the message. Sister Lucia lived to the ripe old age of 97 and died just a few years ago. Lucia kept up the act until her death, never wavering from her story of what she had seen when she was 10 years old......this is worth repeating "when she was 10 years old" ....but she wasn't happy with the attention shown her by this claim, she had to go a step further and claim to be a stigmatic. That would make her just about the luckiest catholic that ever lived. Stigmatic and visits from the Virgin Mary.

You're just a cynic. It sounds perfectly reasonable to me.
In fact, I have some things that I would like the world to know.  Do you happen to have the address of three children that I can get to pass these things on for me?  Three children that you trust with world changing information.  I'm not even sure why I'm blogging if this is the best way to get the word out.
