One time, I tried to conjure up a demon ...
I was very,
very high at the time.

Would you prefer I just made something up, Kingmi?
Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention that, later that night, I saw the bat carrying away a newborn.
P.S. I never have any typos.
P.P.S. You misspelled "spelling", btw.

How very esoteric of you, ShutterCat!
I can recall at least two occasions where Bugs utters those lines.
Btw, I hate that my alltime favorite villain, The Mad Scientist, appeared in only one episode ("Water, Water, Every Hare"). That sucks!

Not necessarily a good one, but a theory nonetheless.

Actually, Moon, I think I'll just let it go this time ...
So long as it never happens again.

Reading the comments below, it might seem to encompass a bigger mystery.

I take that to be batman out on the prowl looking for his catwoman. She might be hiding in your friend's house.

Mademoiselle, it would be reasonable to assume that the bat is actually a person who took the form of an animal to observe you and your friends. Now, who do you know that 1) would want to do such a thing and 2) be capable of doing such a thing? This is classic Shamanistic activity. If you want to solve this mystery, you will need to probe the whereabouts and activities of all of your Shaman friends at that precise time last night. If any cannot account for their whereabouts, then you can narrow the field of suspects. What am I doing? I don't need to tell you how to conduct an investigation. MoonSpirit

I vaguely remember that part, Blonde ...
But no, we three are all pretty used to wild animals by now, so there was little, if any, freaking out.

Really, BlackPearl? That is odd.
Although we are pretty much surrounded by nature year round in these parts.

I don't think so, Shamsuddin ...
though I didn't really get a good enough look to be sure. Whatever kind it was, it sure was cute.

You now have me thinking about the scene in "When Nature Calls" the Ace Ventura series.....you know the scene with all of the bats flying out of the cave and Jim Carey freaking out?
Not that you acted that way.....but I would have probably starting flopping around and screaming like a lunatic if that happened to me.

Is it bat season, or something?
This is the second or third post I've seen recently about random bat sightings. Is there a bat season? Maybe only in certain parts of the country. I don't think I've ever seen one in real life. Ooooh. I shudder to even think of it. Reminds me of scary movies.

Maybe, Ann ... it was awful dark.
My mother said that perhaps it might have been a raven. They do tend to congregate on the roofs.
