Won't work.  In my experience dogs are not really good at taking out the trash and putting things away.

No, it wouldn't be anything like a church in the least (Although over half the group I would have together would be ordained ministers).  Because in order to actually make it truly spiritual and uplifting there would be no preaching or brain washing involved.  It would be about actually enjoying life and not dwelling on loads of B.S. concepts that have little if any real benefits to them.

Actually, a Barbeque might easily qualify
as a church, so long as the gathering is instigated for goodness. That is, so long as the service (or barbeque) is utilized to spread cheer and goodwill and in some way focus the participants toward goodness. Who says a church service has got to consist of some long drawn out boring lecture?

Thanks for reminding me. I need to dig out the slip n slide and get that going when we have our next barbecue.  The kids would love it.

Amen Kooka.
There are very few things as uplifting as sitting in the shade in a comfortable chair, stomach full from grill, visiting with great friends while children laugh and play in the sprinkler.
