Lovelyladymonk, Yes he did! He lived a wonderful selfless life for 83
years serving his family, his God and his country.   During that 100 days, he woke two times - one to tell me good by, and strangely, my mother and sister was not present that day, just a few weeks before he died, he woke up a second time ( I was not present this time) but my mother and sister were, and for about one hour he talked to my sister and mother and then went to sleep again, and never awaken again!

MountainClimber,

I'm very sorry for the loss of your father.  I pray he left this earth in peace...

Lovelyladymonk, I read with great interest your poem -- My father died at
83 after lying in a coma for 100 days.   I don't know what he was thinking or what he felt, but I often wished I had known -- or maybe I don't need to know!

not too long ago. "Johnny Got His Gun." Ever hear of it? now you have me thinking...that will lead to writing. There goes another notebook!
You take care. God Bless.
