Nice catching up with you. It is very tough to move with 3 cats! Good luck.

Julia.
Long trips can be traumatic for pets, ask our Paws, but they recover. The trip messed up his equilibrium but he reached homeostasis immediately after he was removed from our truck and his paws touched the floor of my sons home.   Paws was extremely affectionate for days after we finally returned home.   I wish you the best with your pets.

I have a traveling kitty
She only 4 months old and I started the car thing when she was only 9 weeks young.   I travel one hour between two homes (separate story) and she seems to have taken to be a roadie.  I make sure she's good and busy a couple of hours before we leave - that give me an 80% chance she'll nap all the way there.  Far better than the whining.....

Well, at least you are still in charge!

Traveling with critters can be tricky!

I am just glad I didn't have a room with a KING SIZE bed--I might have left it in total disarray!

LOL... I can't imagine driving a half hour with ONE cat... let alone 1000
miles with 3.  LOL   I think you should have left the bed that way... how funny would that have been?   It's not like you were staying there again.

LOL, I'm laughing, Julia, but I would have been crying if I were doing what you are doing.

Julia--- At least you have the good sense to keep the kitties in carriers
when traveling. I did not have that good sense last August, when I traveled from Seattle to south of St. Louis with a howling, yowling Siamese cat roaming free in the rented van. Actually, I did have the common sense, but I was trying to appease my now-former girlfriend who didn't want to imprison the kitty. Never again. I'm lucky that I escaped with my life.
