Cringe
I am well, though I am thinking you are the cause of my power outages because both times I was trying to comment on YOUR blog when the power went out.  I am kind of scared to go back LOL!

Bel, I shut down our computer this morning, even with a surge protector

the storms can surge beyond a protector's defence (not joking)..when I was in insurance I heard more than one horror story along these lines (no pun or joke intended)..I shut everything off including the cable modem whenever there are severe storms in the area.

better to be overly cautious..

Whacky
I do have one but I am thinking between the horrible heat and humidity along with the one too many time of just shutting down without warning it became too much.  It was an older computer as well.

Did you have a surge protector?

Smetimes helps. Hope tomorrow is a better day!

I caught a little of the airshow, Bel, but they're across town, I may see
them.  I don't know what it is, but they are awesome.

How are you Bel, I almost left you out of my checking-in on list
because I can't alphabetize.

We are getting a new computer too, but it's free.  Himself built it at work.  It's a G4, and he's put all sorts of hardware into it.  We're giving the eMac to my in-laws.

Relax, have some chocolate, it always works.

Oh Blanche
I have always wanted to see the Blue Angels and it seems everytime they are in town I am busy or can't get tickets.

I almost wrote that same thing, Bel, lol
Mine just called from the road (my guy, that is, not my computer), and asked for directions.  The Blue Angels are putting on an airshow during Seafair weekend. I love to watch the precision Navy F18 jets doingn their thing, but it plays hell on traffic. He's stuck in traffic.

It was brown out.  I'm not sure, I guess I should call them and ask.  But I still have that deductible, so I don't know.

Julia

Bel Bel michel--
if that's the worst thing that happens to you this week, you are doing pretty good, lol. Furby will come to keep you company with your new computer if you like, hahahahahah.

Tanga
I have a $1000 deductible on my homeowners.  A computer costs way less than that these days.

Now don't go neglecting that poor man!!!

Did insurance
not cover the cost as it was caused due to a blackout?

Good for you, bel.  I can't stand to be without my computer - I don't even know what I did with my time before I had my computer.  I have a feeling my husand knows though. tehehe!
