Good post Blonde....in my opinion a cease fire may end the bombing
but it's not going to end the hatred. Sad to say but I don't see this ending in my lifetime.

Where is the harm in reading others? Israel won't recognize Hezbolah either
so theose who scream loudest for security and recognition, has been the main culprit in NOT recognizing other peoples, sovreignity, and Security Council Resolutions. There is no security on earth dfrom Human Institutions...1941 Pearl Harbor and 2001 WTC terror proved this. Who imagined Lebabnon wopuld be invaded and destroyed so sonn after we urged the Lebanese to rust us, and kick out the Syrians? Thanks BA007

Ariel
Thanks for stopping by.
In addition to getting my point across, I like to pass on what is being reported in the rest of the world.
This is a complicated and awful situation to say the least.
I hope you take it easy and things improve for you.
Take care.

How wonderful to read sane, reasoned, rational and calm Arab opinions for a change!
All right thinking people must agree wholeheartedly with every word of your post, but one cannot really see anyone in the west ( except the flaccid EU of course ) accepting Syria and Iran as honest brokers. I can't even imagine them BEING honest brokers!
It's a tragic, appalling situation, that I deeply grieve to say will have no solution in my lifetime ; short, that is, of one side obliterating the other, which Hydra-like will spawn a whole new set of intractable problems.
I really must make a point of reading you more often, but what with health problems, dismal power supply, and that wild beast called lif, i don't seem to be able to keep up with reading all the posts that I know I'd enjoy.
Enjoy you day, and if you re a believer, enjoy your faith
