See!  Now I have scared.   You must be a wonderful father to have children that love you so much.

if they heard I was in any type of distress...

one more hot and humid day today and then some relief, I guess
(I hope)...I've been to the family doc to get an "official" note for yesterday and today...so far our power has stayed on (fingers crossed)

I don't want Passion to be out of work...
but we don't need another hurricane season like last year's.  I've been thinking lately that we need to find a new way to build roofs -- more like round mushrooms so the wind can't rip them off.  Maybe change our building style to low-built little Hobbit houses with thick grass roofs. :)

I always think the people with real houses are the lucky ones...but with no power and all the heat?  I should be more thankful for my truck than I am...

Passion
You are so funny!  I said if I didn't get power back I was going to motel 6!  OK, so by the second time it went out, I was not waking the kids to go, instead I just went to bed.

I was sooo worried about you girl...

But I figured you guys were just without power. I'm glad you do at least have a generator. Yes, the National Weather Center says that Chris will become at least a Cat 1 Hurricane.

But he's very small...a 30 mile wide eye. Of course, these days you can just about expect anythng!!! Right??? I would love to settle in Jensen Beach Florida with a hot national guardsmen with some really nice buns.

Bel, When Passion goes to Florida, I always start worrying just a bit about my Florida family.   At least, the tree which came down on his roof last time won't ever do that again.   We are finally supposed to get a bit of relief from the tripple diget heat in a couple of days.

it only got down to 90 degrees last night. This is the most bizarre
