it's already 80F here and supposed to touch 95-97F, but cooler the end
of the week..80F for a high would seem like a cold day (sound of sleighbells) ... our men at the group home can't go out in this heat and even me with my breathing condition, I have to be careful...

Amen to that!!!
Leaves on trees around here are turning crisp.  We need a gentle three-day rain.  No more big thunderstorms and winds that take out the power to 600,000 people during this heat wave... Cheez!

Bel, it is effecting an awful lot of people.  After spending Sunday out in it I have been effected by it  more than I have ever noticed before.   Its probably age and stuff like that, so I will hibernate now until it cools a bit.  Today is to be another scorcher.

I'd suggest going to the beach but Carl told me how HOT the water is and laughed at me when I suggested you would be smart just to move your office there.  So, go find a nice pool with a cute cabana boy and move your office to a cooler place.

It's in the high 90s here today, too, bel (high of 98, I think, but the heat index makes it about 105).  It nearly does me in, I can't breathe.  I have to stay in with the AC on.  That's the only way to survive.

Stay cool and have a good day.  Don't do anything.

It was high 90's yesterday, and I didn't realize it until I about passed out while using the weedeater. It was very warm in the house, too. That poor air conditioner of ours just works like hell in this weather.

I genuinely did not want to know today.  What I know is this:  Michigan opened cooling centers today.  WE NEVER have cooling centers.

Bel, it is hot here in Music City USA -- Al Gore may have lost the election
but right now he is winning our hearts and minds, about global warming -- They say that July will go down as the hottest month in the history of the USA!
