kingmi,
I love karaoke, too.  And no offense to the memory of Princess Diana, but I really like the original Candle in the Wind.  Elton John is a great song writer, but the Goodbye England's Rose version seems a bit on the trying too hard side.  Not one of my favorites.  It's a shame that it even had to be written.  I have great admiration for Princess Diana.

Romoured Intelligence and bel_1969, I loved that moive, but I have

loved every Woody Allen movie I ever saw.  I have never been disappointed.  My brother is as adamantly anti-Woody Allen, so I presume that is why they got up and left.  It didn't matter, and they weren't mad, just bored.  One reason could have been the lever of IQ being challenged.  The funniest line I remember is when Woody is trying to pass himself off as a member of the cultured class, and in a room filled with antiques he says, "...oh, this reminds me of trollopes (Anthony Trollopes, 1869, author of "The Duke's Children") and the host says, Oh have you read Trollopes?  "No, I meant a girl I once knew."

I love this kind of humor, as you can tell if you ever read my jokes du jour!  Thanks for stopping by!
