How sad.
Like you, I love pipe music, and one of the most poignant things that I know is to hear the lament, " Flowers of the Forest" played by a lone piper.
I've got a few tapes of pipe music, including the Yamaha pipe band!!! I've often wondered if they cut their teethon motobike pipes, bfore they discoved the delights of the Great Pipes.
AS you probably know, ther's a lot of Spanish pipe music too, from the Basque and other areas. It's a Celtic thing.
