You know what is worse than calling in sick?
Going to work when you are really sick and spreading it around the office.
I could see everyone going down to colds and flu in the staff room today, and there was some tummy bug going through the kids as well.

Yuky feeling....
It's Sunday evening... close to bedtime, and I'm experiencing butterflies sworming in the belly. Vacation is over, back to the dungeon, same-old same-old. The party is over and I'm left cold and sobber... oh well..
WAIT but YOU.. Once you shake that cold, you'll be back in-CHICEF !!

Don't feel guilty for having to call out sick from work. It's more important for you to get yourself well, and being there won't accomplish that.
I can totally sympathise with the tooth troubles you're having at the moment...A few years ago, I lost my balance and wound up hitting a chair on the way down. As a result, I chipped one of my front bottom teeth. Fortunately, you can't notice it when I smile!!...
As for possibly losing your job...No worries here, mate...You can always apply for the postition of my PCA/swim partner!!!!....I'm crushed you haven't responded to my advert yet!!!....
Should I send you another copy of the ad to refresh you on the requirements?????
In the meantime love, get this damned cold out of your chest. If you need more soup heated up, just give me a shout...Keep dreaming of America....I'll be dreaming of Oz...
