For the non-parallel parking challenged that is no problem. We realize the trick is to get the proper distance from the car ahead, and when to start the turn. After that it’s a piece of cake. But sometimes, when a window is handy, it’s just a neat trick, freaks out your passengers too. I once pulled the near impossible maneuver of parallel parking a pickup with an eighteen foot travel trailer behind (yes, it took three spaces and I used the pull in then back up routine, but I got them in the space.

Yes it is a fair tip but what if there's no window?
I had a good driving instructor when I was 17 who taught me the trick about parallel parking and I never forgot it. It was useful because for years I had to parallel park at my home sometimes in minute spaces.
