So if it's a virus there is a chance that it may be curable?  I certainly hope so.

thanks, bel..its called sarcoidosis, and I had never heard of it either...

until diagnosed with it...my lungs have nodules (benign) growing in them that shouldn't be there...makes me gasp for air if I over exert myself in this hot humid weather...respirologist  doesnt even know what caused it, although its classified as a virus...prednisone is helping, but dosage needs to be adjusted

thanks for your prayers....

I am really excited about it!  I am going to completely enjoy working with this person and who knows I might even twist their mind so they will go naked skydiving with me too!

Seriously, thank you.  What's your wish?

Pat

That is so awesome!  If I had 24 million I have a list of things I'd like to do as well LOL!

Of course my family and my soldiers are at the top.

I'd pay for nieces college so she could focus on her studies instead of working so damn hard to work and maintain a 3.7 GPA

I swear every soldier in harms way would get a care package from me.  Everyone with a global calling card so they can call home!

I'd like to open a resturant called the Soup Kitchen and employ homeless people so they can get on their feet and get their lives back!

OK there is a long, long list I better stop!

Alternative works!

I wish I'd win this week's lottery of $24 million.
I 'd give a million bucks each to a dozen or more foundations and educational institutions. A million or three to the rebuilding of housing in New Orleans, a million to Oprah's foundation for educations in Africa and here in America, a million to the Bill & Melinda Gates foundation for education and the fight against AIDS, a million to research to find an AIDS vaccine, a million to Richard Hugo House Center for Writers in Seattle, a million each to the Univ. of Washington, Seattle Central Community College, Southern Illinois University, and of course, the Gulf Coast Libraries. A million to PBS, trust funds for my kids and scholarship funds for the grandkids which they would have to earn by good grades. Then I'd invest in real estate, develop smaller, greener "villages" of cottages designed for low maintenance, easy access for individuals - so many people are on their own.  I'd start up a writer's center, and using the talent from it, set up a print / online magazine.  I'd also open a cafemanaged by a nutritionist that serves fresh, healthy, well-balanced meals, with a fitness center sharing the same parking lot.  Not that I've given this much thought. :)

The smoking is tough.  The good news is once you go for about 9 days or so and then slip, it just makes you sick!!!

I'm pretty happy.
I'd like to get a mountain house someday, and I hope my book gets published soon. I suppose if there is anything I have real control over, is that I wish my Beloved and I can quit smoking, for good, together.

3) wish some way some how I could take a smaller contract at work and have more time for Liz and family..life is too short

I wish for, I'm believing in and am visualizing right now......that me along with all the other bloggers who have enough courage to believe as well:

A Blogger Cruise or Vacation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We could block a certain amount of rooms off......get a special discount and Voila!

It would take a lot of coordination with everyone to pull it off....but anything is possilbe.

Also....not to be so much on the selfish side .....we could hold some type of fundraiser as a group to donate items and money to a charity or charities.

Leave it to me to think of the party!
