I think so too.. there's a huge and often overlooked connection between emotional and mental states and physiological conditions. Attitude counts for a lot.

I think you would like The Kid Dave
and the great thing is its one of those films you will probably find in the discount section of the dvd store.

Never seen that film. I like Bruce Willis. I'm one of the few people in the
world who liked 'Big' as well, so the theme might grab me.

Rob,
I agree with you completely. I think somewhere along the road of adulthood, we forget what it was like to have fun when we were little. All too often, we get so wrapped up in the unhappiness and stresses of our lives we simply forget to allow ourselves to make time to do fun and worthwhile things.
That's why I play with toys sometimes. Also, I can totally relate to the troubles of certain Christmases. That's why I don't drink.
I say, let that inner kid scream and shout all you want him to. It's good for all of us to let that stuff out now and again. Let him roar!!
I hope you have a truly fantastic time when you visit America. New York is a great place to visit!!
I hope in the meantime that bug you've caught in your chest goes away soon. I'm not feeling all that great myself today, so I sort of know how you feel. Rest as much as you can.
BTW...Thanks so much for your sweet comment on my "cheeky" post....You did, as I said, have it coming to you!! Still, you're a peach!!
Get well soon. I'll miss you this weekend...

I agree with being more child like in life. We have the best dreams, imagination and creativity as children.
We seem to lose that with age, it's a shame.
I think we can actually prolong our life when we are more positive and optimistic about the future.
