Marie, this was written while my part of northwest Ohio was coated - not merely sprinkled - with snow. And the effect of "coating" you bring out is exactly what I, as one who tends towards silence and contemplation, intended.

unusual idea but it is good,
coated, sprinkled? coated is too sticky for me compared to the lightness of the snow flake, it brings too much heaviness in another wise lovely light tender poem.
tell me if I am talking crap, I don't care.
