A couple hundred thousand folks in the St. Louis region are still without power following wind and thunderstorms last Wed., and we can sympathize with the sweltering heat and humidity that you're dealing with. Those triple-digit highs and humidity can sap your energy in a hurry. Heard from one son that his power came back on around noon yesterday, so they're all accounted for. Thank goodness... i'm keeping my sun facing windows mostly closed and the shades drawn.
