Mysteria
I don't think that there is a good reason for anything.
I think God wants us to be confused all of the time.....it is the only logical explanation that I can think of.
We are not suppose to figure everything out......just when I think I'm close to understanding the meaning of life, I find out that I know less today than yesterday.

MissyMysterious...
Why is not important, what we do now that we exist is everything. As Yoda might have said, "there is no why, there is only do!" Or not.

Perhaps Why, is the wrong question
Perhaps asking How does the Universe exist whill include and answer to why.

Hell! And here I was thinking that a vacuum was a large empty space where the Pope lives.

If it's an illusion, then why can't I win the lottery?

Mysteria, I don't think I could think of anything better than the quotes
below. Other than, Samhain Moon's favorite "Reality is an extremely persistent illusion". Me, if it is an illusiion, then there are some illusions I wish I would wake up from, or change the channel.

It's so easy to get caught up in our lives, when nothing about it will live on except the experiences we shape while in the midst of them.

My favorite quote on the topic (sort of) is from Woody Allen:
"What if everything is an illusion and nothing exists? In that case, I definitely overpaid for my carpet."
