Um, that would be "he treats all our guests equally badly".

posted by Mademoiselle on July 25, 2006 at 8:47 PM | link to this | reply

He's a furry little beast, BlackPearl ...

However, in reality, he's treats all our guests equally badly.  And it's actually cats (of all colors) who he really seems to hate the most.

posted by Mademoiselle on July 25, 2006 at 8:46 PM | link to this | reply

Mademoiselle,
I really did laugh out loud.  You crack me up.  :)  That Maximillian's not particularly friendly, is he?

No problem.

Er...the nasty laugh I hear when I access this comment page.  There is a nasty laugh, isn't there?

Uh-oh...

Very cool nasty laugh.  I demand to know how you did that.

I don't see why not, Blanche ...

The first film was certainly good enough to warrant a sequel.

I'm not sure why you're not seeing him, fourcats ...

The link seems to be working fine at the moment.

Today Blogit, tomorrow...the Senate?  Of course, the cat may be a mere puppet. He'll need a handler. (Could someon write a version of "Wag the Cat"?)

I enjoy reading your occasional "surprise content" type of posts.

Congrats, you've won. Your prize is in.

Congrats too, for being Number One again.

That's very true, Darrke ...

the fact that he hisses and lunges at black people is a sign, as well.

He even hates people who aren't actually black, simply really tan.  Though I figure he can't tell the difference.  You know, being a cat, and all.

posted by Mademoiselle on July 24, 2006 at 1:06 PM | link to this | reply

I can only go by what he tells me, Fiona ...

Who knows what he really feels, in his heart of hearts?

Hi M
The cats gorgeous - what makes you think he has such extreme views?

posted by fionajean on July 24, 2006 at 12:46 PM | link to this | reply

Actually, Blanche, he's strongly considering a run for the Senate.

posted by Mademoiselle on July 24, 2006 at 11:43 AM | link to this | reply

Mademoiselle, I thought you might have suddenly changed categories
to News & Poltics. Your cat would fit right in there.

Don't be so sure, Runs at Dawn ...

perhaps you should sit down with him, and discuss the issue.

posted by Mademoiselle on July 24, 2006 at 11:32 AM | link to this | reply

Awfully cute though, TAPS ...

But, yes, it's best they don't meet, seeing as Maximilian hates cats, too.

posted by Mademoiselle on July 24, 2006 at 11:30 AM | link to this | reply

Really, Passion?

I would have thought this one was fairly "cut and dry".

posted by Mademoiselle on July 24, 2006 at 11:24 AM | link to this | reply

My cat is white too but I don't think he is racist
LOL

posted by Runs_at_dawn on July 24, 2006 at 11:10 AM | link to this | reply

Mademoiselle, since Pitiful is definitely black, I think I'll not introduce the two of them.

I don't get it.

posted by Mademoiselle on July 24, 2006 at 4:23 AM | link to this | reply

Yes, Ann, that is correct ...

And I hope to get to them all very soon (as well as something rather amusing which occurred over the weekend plus my report from Eagles' training camp).

There are simply too many distractions at home. The traffic going in and out of here is unreal.

posted by Mademoiselle on July 24, 2006 at 4:22 AM | link to this | reply

Yes, .Dave., that comment was something less than discreet.

posted by Mademoiselle on July 24, 2006 at 4:19 AM | link to this | reply

That may not work with an American cat, though, .Dave.

Not exactly a bunch of flowers, but here is a sparkling lakeside shrubbery presented to you on the occasion of your second ascension to the # 1 spot.

I think it might be called broom.

Congratulations on some excellent writing of late, alongside some out-and-out wit-stirring frippery and slippery.

Long live Princess Demoiselle!

Mad One, if he starts on you, buy him a dog collar.

No, not a vicar's one.

And when his back's turned, shout: "Walkies!" then run away.

Once he becomes uncertain of who he is, he'll then become uncertain of who you are.

All of my advice has been tried and tested.

posted by _dave_says_ack_ on July 24, 2006 at 3:17 AM | link to this | reply

What good would badmouthing the cat behind his back do, .Dave.?

Besides, if he ever overheard me, it might only further fuel his rage.  Or worse yet, rechannel his anger towards me.

posted by Mademoiselle on July 24, 2006 at 2:45 AM | link to this | reply

Mad One, I'm afraid it might be worse than you thought.

I think your cat is a poodle. Take it to a vet for confirmation.

Whatever it turns out to be, you could tackle the racism by smiling inanely at it and carrying on eating your sandwich with pursed lips. Then, when it goes out of the room, you could enter into a full character-assassination conversation with your mum.

I can't stop clicking, though.

I don't know why. I enjoy repetition (I enjoy re-reading your post, too.)

It is HUGE. I can't shake it off either. That was just strange.

hey! we are online at the same time! So is it really late at where you live (I should say really early?) I have a sleeping problem, how about you?

I appreciate that, Bandana ... it's not about the clicks, though.

Besides I've already been #1 (in May), so ...

Anyways, yah, it's absolutely giganormous I'm starting to have nightmares about it.

P.S. My mother says she's disturbed that I even noticed that.

posted by Mademoiselle on July 24, 2006 at 1:23 AM | link to this | reply

So, I re-read your post, again.

Just so you can get more clicks and be number one. I read your last post, too.

I just checked out Uma Thurman's bullybutton, and it was HUUUUGGGEEEE. Gaw it was disturbing. wooooooooooo. wo!

Random thought:
If my ranking goes up any further, am I going to be obligated to start writing posts that are actually good?

Instead of reading the same one over, you should have read the previous post ...

It was better.  Hopefully.

I am secretly retarded.
I did read your one sentence post twice.

I needed a photo to fit the (using term loosely) "joke", Lensman ...

As you'll see later on, he's really quite adorable.

Bandana, I have no idea what you're talking about ...

But it sounded interesting, anyway.

P.S. You needed to reread a one sentence post?!  That's some memory you have.

I find it impossible
to obtain eye contact with your.. hm.. lovely cat. That stare makes me feel incompetent. I think your cat is a queen (or, a king?) And she/he is shooting laser beams off the eyes...
