Sounds like you are doing a good job...I think knowing you aren't perfect is a great thing for the kids...my mom was a perfectionist and it was her biggest flaw as far as I'm concerned, possibly her only one.

Well, what can I say besides that you are not your mother.  I remember when she was like that, I mean hell I thought she was disappointed with me, and I'm just her nephew.  But any ways, you and I both know that you are an excellent mother so stop kidding yourself.  We also have to remember how fucked up their parents were, especially Claire.

Perhaps all that generational "Crap" that follows us around so often will stop with you  and your kids won't be troubled by it.
