The helicopter trip definitely seems like the option and I like the sound of sunset at the canyon. I'm smiling so much at just the thought of seeing all that grandeur. If you have any other suggestions please pass them on.

I recommend the sunset helicopter tour of the grand canyon. Maverick was the company that I went with. They pick you up from your hotel and take you to the helipad. You then fly over the grand canyon.....land in the heart of the grand canyon, watch the sunset while taking amazing photos and if you like they have champagne, cheese and fruit........then you take off while the sun is setting over the canyons and you fly over the hoover dam......by the time you get to the strip it is night and all of the lights look incredible...you fly over the strip and back to the helipad.....it was money well spent and a memory of a lifetime.

I was keen on seeing the Grand Canyon and Vegas seemed like the best place to stop over. I am looking forward to seeing the strip and all the strange sights of neon drenched paraphanalia representing anything and everything from all over the world.
