My entry here is showing up in the journal blog section.
So I guess there might be a problem somewhere. I will continue to check and see if it shows up in more than one place. I did not see it in the business and investing section though.
It's been peaceful in Lebanon for a few years, but there's always the potential for bad to occur. The Lebanese people need to get Hezbollah out of their country. They don't have to worry about it now. The Israelis will take care of that.
I did read and check out reports of the UK being very warm. Things will begin to cool down a bit shortly. We always have weather this hot in Texas. It just seems you forget from year to year how hot that really is. We don't always have drought and water restrictions though.

Actually...
...Lebanon has been peaceful and democratic for a number of years now. Even the act of kicking out the Syrians passed off pretty peacefully. Here in Europe, Beirut was regaining it's high-class tourist status that it last enjoyed in the 1970s. Now Israel is destroying the lot (again), allegedly because of three Israeli soldiers.
By the way - if this is a journal blog, why is it in Business & Investing?
As for the temperature, I can empathise. It hit 97 degrees in the UK yesterday, breaking a July record that has stood for over 90 years. It's cooler today, though - and there's just been a tiny shower of rain!
Cheers!
