I thank you for the exaltation and the comment.  My husband takes wonderful photos that inspire me.  Thanks, too, for turning me onto Haiku.  I hadn't tried my hand at it since I was a middle school teacher, back in the 90s!

I spent most summers just outside of Liberal, and drive through most of the state each year on our trip to North Dakota, so I know Kansas well. Our family farm is just over the border in the panhandle of Oklahoma, where the kids grow as tall as wheat, but always lean a bit because of the wind!

Yes I do, about 30 miles south in Leavenworth. We are in the process of trying to reestablish in Kansas City, probably the Overland Park area.  Thanks for asking and reading!
