SYMPHONY
You are meeting the needs of your family. I would say that there is satisfaction in doing that.

Symphony, my husband does all the food shopping, but I do the grocery lists.  Same thing, I think, don't you?  I mean I don't go get it, but it's in the house once I do the list.

I hate clothes and shoes shopping too, Symphony, but I gotta do it - I don't want him buying my clothes.  haha

That is totally normal. I love it. My husband says I think all the products are orphans and I try to take as many as possible home every time I go. I love to grocery shop!

Symph, it's okay, my Sam's the same. Oh hang on though, perhaps you're
both irretrievable weirdos. Oh well, for better or for worse...

SYMPHONY,
I don't find it strange.  I'm addicted to food shopping too! LOL.

Well, I don't think I am addicted, but I certainly feel better

food shopping than clothes shopping. I hate buying clothes. The only way I would _like_ buying clothes is if I could afford to go to one of the stores where outfits cost a thousand bucks apiece and they will ensure that I look good. But, that is not happening any day soon...

Regarding Pat's comment though...I DO keep the toilet paper well stocked... my husband makes fun of me for it, which probably fuels the fire!

Might not be addiction --
it sounds like you've inherited the hunter-gatherer gene. It wasn't so long ago that "everyone" grew their food, canned or stored it for winter, and had a storehouse for food.  Sensible of you to have a supply on hand in case the lights go out or there's a transportation strike or something. Do you also have a camp stove and cooking utensils out in the garage?  BTW, one of the scarcest things in troubled times is toilet paper -- you well stocked in that department?

lol I think I'm addicted to hip hop...
Eminem, Detroit rap and rap music in general are part of my daily sickness LMAO

If you really want to break this addiction may I recommend "booze shopping!!"

I know what you mean, Love...I'm not really into clothes shopping, either...I only go when absolutely necessary.  As for the food shopping...Can't say I'm addicted to it, but I don't find it strange at all...

I totally know what you mean. I can get very obsessive about tuna and
peanut butter, all the essentials must be present in multiplicity. Even if I don't have grocery $$, I still look through the ads and circle stuff. LOL

Addictions
If you have to have an addiction.....that is not a bad one!

I guess it gives a feeling of security. Being well stocked and prepared. Lol.
