Yeah...Rock n Roll ain't noise pollution!  To me that means you are a music lover and or a musician and possibly good at many things... where as my song is representive of my rebellious, simplistic, inquistive, reflective vantage I seem to have taken up and grown quite fond of...

"I don't find this stuff amusing any more,"
line from a Paul Simon tune. Also like the "hints and allegations" line.

I had a crush on Danny Kaye!
I loved him in the Walter Mitty movies and the Hans Christian Anderson ones.

Mysteria, funny, I was lying in bed thinking of a song lyric for your blog
"Don't boss him, don't cross him, he's wild in his sorrow, ridin' and hidin' his pain.  Stay out of the path of the raging black stallion and don't lay a hand on the bay."  I can't remember the name, it may be "The Tenneessee Stud".  I remembered it tonight for some reason, hadn't thought of it in years.

from danny kaye's 'songs for children", this song "laugh it off upsy daisy"

"laugh it off and upsy daisy abba dabba hoo hoo ha

laugh it off and upsy daisy abba dabba hoo hoo ha

who cares what's the weather, who cares what's the weather, long as we're together, abba dabba hoo hoo ha

when your world is full of trouble and you're feeling sad

if you stub your toe or lose your dough and things look kinda bad

do you sit down in a corner, do you cry the whole day long?

no, i sing myself a magic little song.

so remember this when everything goes wrong, whoa!

laugh it off and upsy daisy, abba dabba hoo hoo ha

laugh it off and upsy daisy,  abba dabba hoo hoo ha

who cares what's the weather, who cares what's the weather, long as we're together, abba dabba hoo hoo ha

if you cannot seal a business deal that you've been prayin' for

if you lose your favorite marbles to the little boy next door

if your brand new car receives a scar while standin' in a lot

if your puppy eats your guppy, lots of luck!

these are little things compared to what you've got, so!

(refrain)

if you're going to the dentist and you think it's going to hurt

if you crack your knee and one, two, three the knee begins to spurt

if you wanna keep your spirits up and cheer yourself along

just sing yourself the magic little song

it will help a lot when anything goes wrong, so!

laugh it off and upsy daisy, abba dabba hoo hoo ha

laugh it off and upsy daisy, abba dabba hoo hoo ha

who cares what's the weather, who cares what's the weather, long as we're together

abba dabba hoo hoo ha

hoo hoo ha, hoo hoo ha, abba dabba hoo hoo ha!"

i've had this record since approximately 1962, 63.

I always wondered where you came up with the title of that old blog, M
"Because I know the power of a question" is a great line.  My song lyric?  I'll work on it and get back to you ,there are almost too many to name one.
