volcanic eruptions are to a large extent the result of shifts in the Earth's tectonic plates, a process that has been going on for literally billions of years! For a number of complex reasons, the effects are sometimes more pronounced, sometimes less so, but there's absolutely nothing 'unusual' about it! Now, as far as the Earth's
climate is concerned, we may be contributing to changes, especially the notorious 'global warming', but that's a separate issue...

I think Mother Nature has a mind of her own..It's when man has decided he is more powerful that those forces that make me wonder! I saw that volcano and as you know, only divinity has that much power!
I also agree with the blogger below...I can hardly believe what I am seeing when I watch the news!

We haven't been heeding the early warners in terms of the type of

It does seem to come all at once, watching the news now is just ridiculous, I hardly believe what I'm watching.
