Pat_B here in these parts it is about as intregrated and global, culturally
speaking as you can imagine.  A very diversified city.  And you know something?  We're not doing too bad... hmmmm   It's a ponderable alright...

If Bush is a globalist,
I'm a tank farm.  I'm sorry, but until 2000, I don't think he knew how to find India on a world map, or that Australia was in the southern hemisphere.  Given the cultural differences among the three nations, it seems highly unlikely to me we'll see a North American Union in my lifetime. For one thing, the U.S. is so deep in debt it would take the other two countries generations to dig out from under it.

In a scary world like this one
bigger may be better. Would that mean less 'illegals'? Unified healthcare for all of us? Or just bigger big brother looking over our shoulders?? Who can say? I have to ponder this one a bit before I say yea or nay. I have no opinion yet, but thanks for all the links. Good one.
