I think we know by now... when you put your mind to something, you WILL
do it. I have no doubt. When you have a craving, just blog it away.

I wish I didn't. Especially right about this second! LOL! I am drinking a ton of water trying to flush the nicotine out in hopes that will help reduce the cravings.

Both my father and his father passed due to lung cancer. If I keep my family history in mind as my mother's side has heart disease, I expect I will remain motivated.

I quit once before and that was cold turkey. I have the patch on hand in case I really go crazy but trail and failure method has proved that for me it's cold turkey or nothing!

I smoke an off brand which run about 3.60 a pack (I also find the cheapest place in town), I believe brand names run close to 5.00 a pack. Also I live in Michigan which has very tax on cigarettes and alcohol so I am probably not the best gauge for the rest of the country. When I started they were .45 a pack.

I tried cold turkey once, but failed miserably. The patch got me through it, my brother too. If you truly want to quit, you will. Good luck.

Go for it!
Thus far, I've quit about thirty one times since New Years. But then again, I can stand anything but pain and temptation...
Good luck!
