AVANT & XENO-X

As usual, both of you guys are "firing on all cylinders" as far as I can see!  Both your comments hit the bull's eye dead on target!  Straight to the heart of the matter!  Thank you.

You are, apparently, a new commentator to my posts, and thank you for joining in.  I value your comments, but allow me to clarify what I said, or THOUGHT I said.  When I referred to the intelligence of this new creature, Man, I meant it as applying to all nations and races in general, not that one nationality or race is more or less intelligent than the next.  In fact, I think that there is an insignificant difference between any such groups we may choose to compare.  The outcome of any struggle (including warfare) is dependent on many things, such as elements of surprise, levels of national wealth, degree of technological advancemen, etc.  I think that each and every group is more or less egual in intelligence to each and every other one.      As far as the earth as being a gift by God to us and His "leaving us alone" with it,  God would be "damned if He did and damned if He didn't" on that score!   If He spoke to the whole world once every day in some kind of  Supreme Multinational Address, there would still be all kinds of bitching and moaning from some of us!  We would resent His interference!   We certainly resent His total lack of it!  I, for one, certainly do not HATE Him for His decision!  I think He made the best possible choice!     Thanks again for your comments!

I'm glad I noticed XenoX walked this way.God gave us EarthGift & walked off
If someone gave us a gift, then stood around watching how we used it, played with it, cleaned it --or not-- we would hate such a GIVER and the gift. I can relate this to being "good stewards", but adisagree we are the most intelligent species. IF one country occupies another for their land or oil, does it make the occupier more inteligent? If India was among the first to get rid of British colonial rule in the 20th century, does it make the British less intelligent?

I think that people behave badly then project it onto God. They pollute the earth and defile every living thing, then say God is after them when the consequences occur.
