Me too Avant.
I joke about it, but sometimes I get really scared, that when I'm older and in my dotage, I'll have a really bad nightmare that'll shuffle me off this mortal coil.  It's probably one of my biggest fears, and people will think I've passed peacefully in my sleep.

I have learned that daylight hides our innermost feelings, and that they release themselves at night. My dreams continue to be psychic in nature, but they have morphed into mysterious enigmas instead of horrors that appear to victimize. I hope that yours do, too.

Speaking of dreams Avant following my

comment on your earlier post, I had a humdinger of a nightmare that woke me in the early hours with a rapidly beating heart, and the beginnings of a nightsweat.

I dream very vividly, and am convinced there's something up with my wiring, I feel pain in dreams too, and have stopped talking about them to people as they sound too makey uppy.

However often it is quoted, it is still good to hear.

fear of failure is almost worse than failure itself.....
better to have tried and failed than not to try at all (I sound like one of the people I've posted with quotes..lol...maybe thats a good thing).....

I just elbow jostle impetuosly into everything, start, stop, analyze
torment myself, and sometimes it's just by luck or the kindness of others that I land in a soft place.

Succeed, every day without drama is my quiet triumph.

Yes. I feel the same. Keep trying. I heard the difference between a success and a failure is the decision to stop.

I do think...
that trying is always better- even with taking the risk of a failure...

Good. I like this direction. It's more in line with my keeping up my skills.

I like your new style, Avant, it's more revealing and personal.

I tend to express mine through artistic endeavors- especially writing. It feels good to get it out.

Avant-Garde, failing to try haunts me more than ridiculle
although, I have to say that I'm wary of exposing my innermost thougts and feelngs at times.  I've developed a different persona as a result, a more flippant one, perhaps.  However, the dreamer, the poet, the otherworldly still exists in me.  Sometimes, I simply let it out when it's quiet.

Your work is beautiful. There are both those who live in fear and those who seek to bring fear upon others. Then there are those who know who they are. Be blessed.

Hi Avant...I have never been one to worry about what others think

about anything I do, except for my husband and son. I have always been a non-conformist and it is quite freeing! As always....an inspiring post!

If we give up dreaming we might as well lay down and die. Great post!
