Thank you so much for your lovely comment on my post....
We do have quite a lot in common - on how we feel....etc.
I wrote a poem simular to this...also called 'who am I'
I hope you do not mind but I wanted to share it here with you....
who am I
I glance at my reflection,
But I do not see me..
I keep on looking…
But I’m not sure what I see,
I stand still at the mirror,
What do I really see?
A haunting reflection,
But its definitely not me!
Those eyes filled with sadness, depression and pain,
A heart that speaks through them,
and yells,
Please not again..
The face is a stranger,
Who can it be?
It is my image reflected,
But it cant be me!
The emotions and feelings,
I try so hard to hide,
Wont ever please my wishes,
And stay locked inside,
They fight to the surface,
Ignoring my pleas,
How will the world know,
That its definitely not me?
My soul cannot appear,
If only it would,
Then perhaps…
Others would see me, as they should..
I have a anxious feeling,
I don’t know what it can be,
I really wont accept that,
This reflection is not me!
For always and forever,
Until the day I die,
Please answer my question,
Who the hell am I?
