MarieClair, I suspect you are right

Ypunday, I feel a bit of a hypocrite because I did not spend hours
polishing my writing, editing and so on. I am good at spelling so no problem there, and I write easily but even so. I should practice what I "teach". Sometimes I put no effort and it's good, other times I put a lot of effort and nobody likes it anyway. Still, there is a minimum standard to maintain.

Azur, I agree you are a voice in the wilderness.
This blog is not really a blog, it is a comment that got so long, I decided to spread to everybody.

Here's a secreat: when I have opportunities to teach writing, I teach haiku
You raise many important questions. I admire you for being fluent in French and English... but I also heard you say you come down in the middle. I like that too: many people come here to write; many others don't. But over time, if any oneblogger does NOT bother to edit and proofread her or his work, it is sad and shows carelessnes, even lack of respect for readers. So I seem to concur with your stronger points, too.

You can set yourself all sorts of writing challenges in a blog
- time spent to write, writing styles, writing to length,  letting it flow, making it perfect. Most of my writing has to be so disciplined and correct so I enjoy spilling it here. I often think I should spill it towards a destination rather than the bottomless blog pit.
