You've particularly gotta watch those middle aged, semi-retired
Canadian males. Frightening bunch of loonies.

Kiddo75 - That makes perfect sense to me
She is no doubt now claiming that the resultant offspring of unknown fatherhood is in fact the messiah. Her next career move will be become a nun. That's where nuns come from, ....the crazy farm.

Hi, gomedome,
Another good post. You are something else. (I believe that's a Southern expression for someone whom you can't put into words. Others may be familiar with it, too, but just wanted to clarify.) Thanks. :)

They all have a common theme....lol. You forgot the head nut though,
who used to tell me she was only reading my blogs (since they were so filthy) because the evil was wanting her to say dirty words. But I wasn't supposed to tell, because they had notes in the air vents. Then of course, the spirit came down and had sex with her.

Actually, my initial comment was in reference to your not knowing what a shout-out is.
While I can't accurately call anyone "crazy" I can state the many interesting people I've encountered here, interesting defined in a you-gotta-be-kidding, boy-am-I-glad-these-people-don't-know-where-I-live kind of way.

Oh sorry,
Perhaps that's an entirely American phrase. It means, more or less, to give someone acknowledgement... it's street slang. It means I referenced you in my blog. I put in a clickable link so people could come visit your site.

I didn't meet these people except for one that I am aware of. I don't think being a believer or a non believer prevents a heavy dose of crazies. Maybe I should call my quaintness of late Godzheimer. What ya think? Good post.

Sophistie - that's a good point - but not quite.
Where this cyber community does mirror society in many respects, there is one element where it does not. That is in the balance between the crazies and the uncrazies. It's the nature of this online environment and the realities of why many are members of this site that creates this imbalance in comparison to society.

strat - that could be the new golden rule
The ones that crack me up the most, outside of the crazies, are those who use all manner of underhanded and malicious tactics to demonstrate how much they love their fellow man.

TVBlogger - somewhere, in some part of the world there is a loony, right
at this very moment pulling out his/her credit card to join Blogit.
They come rushing in with the intention of spreading the gospel but it's just their gospel, the version that developed in their little isolated religious community. I still find it shocking when we see a blogger who has obviously never been exposed to any other religious perspective in their lives. Many can't handle the shock to their own systems.

cantey_1975 - as far as new fresh careers go, I'm working on it
My new business model: online sales, low inventory costs, zero delinquent receivables and quick product turnover are beginning to work quite well. Building this into a major player in the field I am in is the challenge and that is all I need to do it . . . the challenge.

And in the spirit of that T shirt, I must add my own:
"When the rapture comes, can I have your car?"
It is crazy stuff. As always, man perverts and mangles the message. I mean, the whole thing could just as easily -- and probably more effectively -- be boiled down to Bill and Ted's guitar rock religion -- "Be excellent to each other..."

I was going to put this comment in your last blog...
but it works equally as well here. I just love that t-shirt, "Lord protect me from your followers."
It sort of makes me wish I'd joined blogit earlier to watch the parade of loonies. Then agian, I have no doubt they'll just keep marching by. Now I must go find Nurse Rachet to remove my straight jacket so I can take my meds.

There is a reason you stay on Blogit and steadfastly endure the assaults on IQ and sanity. Maybe the next chapter of your life will involve going back to school and earning a PhD in abnormal psycholgy and entering clinical counseling, a Blogit is simply pulling back the window shade to reveal this vista. I have known a couple of people who have embarked upon new fresh careers later in life after a long successful one.
