I figure the kids will like it when it is passed on.

LOL Maggie
Terry is obviously a confident man!  I think more than anything my problem yesterday was a cotton candy and elephant ear hangover mixed with way too much sun!

Sounds like you got better awfully quick.  I'm glad for that.  You make my mouth water talking about your homemade jams.  Yum-meee!

Great idea -- the tee shirt quilt thing
as they say on design on a dime or in a fix or debbie does paint -- it's a way to honor the time and the experience.  You can't throw such things away or leave 'em in a box...  Glad you're feeling better, too. :)

Sannhet
Just finished the jam and given I have never made cherry in the past I had to test it.  MMMM MMMM, I like the idea of the bread, I'll have to see if I have yeast on hand.  I think I might make another batch of the jam...I wonder if Carl wants to pit some more for me!

Mademoiselle
I saw part of it and hoped it would get better...thanks for the heads up, I won't waste my time before taking it back!

I never heard of Ross or Jones New York!

Have heard of Hilfiger though.

Meanwhile, Bradshaw's ass actually gave me nightmares.

Oh, and you didn't miss much.  Despite the presence of Johnny Depp (*sigh*), "The Libertine" is a dreary, unpleasant film.  Both Restoration and Quills are much better versions of the same (basic) story.

P.S. I'm allergic to flannel.

Never heard of Ross
OMG I would love that!!!  As for Martha Stewart, nope, her stuff is always much prettier than mine.  I'm just getting back to my life as it was before Iraq.  I have a husband and family again.  Granted I get restless but when the day is done, I am happy to be here.

Geez Girl, you're turning into Martha Stewart...

Making jam and quilts...wow! I'm impressed and it sounds like lots of fun. I love soft fabrics like flannel too.

btw, don't you have a Ross there? You can buy Jones New York at Ross at greatly reduced prices. Tommy Hilfiger too and al the top brands.
