This show takes us far from reality

FoodDude

I am amazed ...really.  That which passes for a pastime.  Every year I go without "TV disease" (good one)  I feel I gain at least 10 points on my IQ score... I use that metaphorically cause I cannot really endorse the method of intelligence quotient studies.

as an example...

Like learning how to drive a manual transmission...I could not do it proficiently until I understood how the transmission worked physically...

TV is a great escape.  It is the great contoller of the masses.  And it is great that more and more people are choosing to not subscribe to its every notion and whim.

If you are going to veiw tv, generally in terms, it is best to do so  d i c e r n i n g l y.

Good post...I've seen that show a few times.
But I'm not much of a TV watcher either.

Hi
We've had that show here in South Africa too. I watched the first few episodes and then an occasional one here and there but I never really got hooked on it. I seem to remember that the mother did the nasty with that guy and another one too. I would imagine that, doing that kind of work, you'd need some form of narcotic escape. Here it is legal for the police working in the morgue to drink on duty.

Whacky...
Yes, it has.  My wife has been watching them via Blockbuster Online, thus the inspiration.

Yeah I've seen parts of several episodes. It's for real.

I think it's been cancled though. Not sure.
