Nanaroo, apparently it all boils down to money. I hope they make the right decision.

Gosh, Nanaroo, I was wondering the same as you. Nasa can't be too safe,
as far as I'm concerned. I was there once when one of the flights was cancelled. It was disappointing, but I knew for the best. I don't think we should worry about schedules anymore. Just safety, like you said.

I just think back to Challenger
and am glad I'm not one of the astronauts.

it sounds irresponsible. i sure wouldn't want to be one of the astronauts.
it's like in "jaws" when the mayor went up to that old couple on the beach, "no one's going in the water. i need you to go in the water." well, you wouldn't catch
me going in the water.

Nanaroo...
When I was in Alaska in the Air Force, there was a saying about bush pilots, you don't want a good bush pilot, you want a good old bush pilot. NASA must be under pressure, but after the last failure and troubles, it seems they are asking for trouble. The austronauts themselves could always call it off, I'm sure. It would be a big stink, but hey, who's neck is it anyway? And why don't they put the foam on the inside where it can isulate and not fall off? That's what I want to know.

That's exactly what it looked like when they showed
The pics from that crash a few years ago. That rocket came apart as it descended across Texas. They were scouring the country south of us searching for parts of it.
