No doubt about it, fwmystic. The problem with the GOP is their stock in
trade:  buzz words and generalities, demagoguery and platitudes, half-truths and half-lies.  But to who is buying Coulter's book?  Well, when websites like Newsmax offer it for $4.99, even the most penny-pinching conservative will spring for a copy of something that bolsters their backward-assed mentality.

I wonder who is buying all her books ...
I thought her writings would be intellectual, like Ayn Rand, but there's nothing noteworthy about the way she writes. Her columns are full of half-baked truths and generalities. That's why Republicans like her so much.

You are so right on that one, Blanche. I have found it difficult to keep
an erection while angry, so even Coulter's skinny ass in a bikini's not doing it for me.  Which brings me to the fact that I can't watch the Faux News Network if my fiance is feeling frisky...

Saul, even in a bikini, I think you'd have a hard time stomaching her!
Oh, sure the visuals might work for a while, but I think her hate-filled, idiotic spewing might get to you.

Would that more people were willing to click her away, RckyMtnActivist.
Unfortunately, there are millions who agree with her nonsensical labeling and rabble-rousing.  But, as I've stated, she serves the public, focusing even more millions on the extreme radical right's way of thinking, which, even though they seem to be powered by plenty of money and the access to disseminate their hateful dogma, tends to disgust more often as not.

You are absolutely right, scoop. If you or I made public comments about
blowing up the Times building with staff and reporters inside, we'd have FBI agents at the door, asking to be let in (if we're lucky, they'd ask) so they could ask us a few pertinent questions about our choice of words.  But, since she's a flagrant ethnocentric satirist (I use the last term loosely), she's allowed to spew her vitriole all over the world via satellite.  And you're right about her and the numbnut bobblehead boys doing all they can to destroy the Republican party.  It simply disgusts me.

There's another way to say it, blackcat. She's a worthless peice of offal,
a piece of detritus, a piece of crap, a peice of scum.  And it still doesn't do her justice.

Blanche, being a man, I could probably stand her a little better if she
wore a two-piece, Brazilian bikini while she brayed, but.... she doesn't, so there.  Anyway, I'm with your friend, I call people like her the "arrogantly ignorant" or the "ignorantly arrogant", a distinction even they can't figure out.  And scoop may be our most straightforward blogger, considering that he is a Republican.

She's a big mouth idiot who is using shock value to sell her trash!

So much has been said about her tasteless remarks about the WTC widows in her recent book.  My question is why aren't more people upset over the title of the book.....Godless! She is implying that all liberals do not have a faith in God! Now THAT really angers me.  Everytime she is on TV I immediately change the station and I have one word for her...KARMA! Good post Saul!

I agree, her Limbaugh and Hannity are doing their best
to destroy the Republican party. I just can't believe how many love her and her outrageous statements, statements that would get others hung out to dry.

Wow, I hadn't heard about this. The Timothy McVeigh comment is so
amazingly distasteful...  she obviously goes for shock value.  She's a real piece of work.  There's no other way to say it.

Saul, I like Scoop's usual description of Ann Coulter,

which you probably remember as well as I do.  This is the same genius who told a CANADIAN journalist that the Canadians had troops in Vietnam.  She has what a friend of mine likes to call "The certainty of ignorance".  She can make the most asinne statements with a straight face.

I'll give Colmes his due, why get upset at her grandstanding, her pathetic attention ho antics have approached levels of sheer stupidity.  What comes out of her mouth would be classified as "hate crimes" and she should be the first one put away.  No one should use the word "treason" lightly.

But while we're on the subject of treason, what about Scooter Libby outing Valerie Plame and the potential deaths of her contacts and the ruin of a CIA operatives cover for political and vindictive meanness.  Now that's treason.  Besides, the terrorists don't need the NY Times to tell them they're being watched.  Go figure.

Now, if Ann Coulter would wear something a little less floozy-like, maybe she could be taken seriously, bu tthat BDSM dominatrix leather vest she wears just screams "look at me, I"m an idiot, who will say anything to get attention".
