Excellent question, Leroy!
Here's the working definition of treason as used in the Constitution: "Treason
treason n the offense of attempting to overthrow the government of one's country or of assisting its enemies in war." See Article III Section 3 of the Constitution, available on line at http://www.usconstitution.net/const.html. You decide if disclosing classified operations against enemies during time of war fits the bill or not. To me, it does.

I think I need to get out more.
Holy cow but I was not aware of these vicious threats against specific Republicans.  Where's the FBI when you really want them?  And why isn't the IRS auditing these liberals' accounts and creating all sorts of havoc for them?  I'd say that Ann's comment was a walk in the park compared with the others'.  At the very least she did not name specific names.

Ann on Qaeda Times
At what point is an American business actuallly legally considered supporting the enemies of the United States?  Ann sounds extreme on this but is she?

I do believe that Ann Coulter's statement is a bit "out there"
and certainly one I would not make but you make a very, very good point.  It only seems to be a problem when the aim is at someone other than our nations leaders.  Something is way wrong with that thinking.  There was a time when someone made comments against our President and they were very quickly granted an audience by the secret service or other law enforcement officials.  Now, it's simply a punchline.  Something STINKS!
