Whoops, sorry about adding this 3 times. Once was really enough, it just didn't seem to be taking the first 2 times. I don't think I can delete but you can right? I guess I'm getting too sleepy and the system or network seems to be getting sluggish too. Again, SORRY!

Okay, I just read this blog. Very interesting comparisions and histories of other religions. However, as I stated in my comment to your earlier response, I still think this is an issue of extremism, not the Islamic religion. Are you saying all foreign Muslims are extremists to the point of  terrorism? If so, wouldn't we be seeing, by now, many more terrorist attacks globally and here? Their numbers are huge. You are right about the need to protect ourselves from those who wish to harm us, but how is it fair to destroy a whole faith that the majority of followers peacefully and reasonably participate in?  North Korea also seems to be a very big threat to the U.S. and that has nothing to do with Islam. Radicalization has infected other  religions too. Think of the abortion clinic murders. I am strongly opposed to abortion, but I don't deign myself to be judge of those who go against Gods' teachings. I feel he is meant to our Judge and will mete out punishment on his timetable, not ours. It is okay to try and persuade others to see our point of view, but not through violence and taking lifes in His name. I know some Christian hard liners and they don't seem very Christ like to me. Instead of "turn the other cheek" it's more an "eye for an eye" and no forgiveness for sins such as homosexuality.
