I've never understood the love
of fire-crackers, to me all they really do is make a noise. I like sparklers and proper fireworks but fire-crackers just annoy me. Those kids need a good, solid hiding. As you said, fireworks are dangerous and there's nothing funny about being woken at 1am.

We had someone setting off M-80's
in the crowd of our fireworks show last night. One would figure that when the event is being sponsored (very CLEARLY MADE KNOW to all there) by combat Vet's, that one would consider the effect this might have on some. I watched several soldiers start to take cover when the first one went off. I have no sense of humor about the illegal setting off of any of these things, anytime, any place. They are DANGEROUS!

You nailed that one on the head! I just don't understand what the fun of mischievous, meanhearted pranks or vandalism is. Why do people get charge out of hurting or upsetting others or damaging their property? Very good post.
