- Go to MY CLOTHESLINE JUST KEELED OVER!
No, I have a very old flat so I
just hang some washing on a clothes horse and the rest on the dado rails. (I can't use the wash line downstairs 'cos that requires constant surveillance if you want the washing to be there when you get back.) I'd say reset it completely. It would be a schlep to take it out when you want to use it. Why not go to the hardware store, I'm sure they've got paint that will stop it rusting.

I wish you luck digging that old piece out and setting the other one in.

Yes, it's worth the trouble to get it back up there again. I've used a clothesline for years - a couple of long ones strung between the garage and a shed.

Whackydotter!!
I keep promising myself to put one up and now you've reminded me. It would save a lot not using the dryer.

I would sell the metal
to a metal recycling facility, if you have one near you. You'd be surprised how much you can get for scrap metal. Have a great Sunday

Whacky,
This is really something. Too bad there isn't a video to send in for a shot at that 10 grand. :)

Whacky, I gave up clotheslines years ago when there was a large mulberry tree nearby and the birds made horrible purple hash marks on everything as they flew over.
