TVBlogger -- I finally had a chance to check out the tin foil helmet site
It's worth hotlinking HERE . . . oh to be young again, at college, getting wasted with your buddies and dreaming up crazy stuff to post on the internet.

You know, now that TVBlogger mentions it, I'm pretty sure that I was wearing an aluminum foil helmet when I got the idea to work on the blog that turned out to be parallel to yours Gomedome.

Oh dear
Did you not know that the tin foil hats actually increase the beams into your skull? Some bored college students did a study at M.I.T. Check it out for a good laugh. I especially liked the various styles of hats. http://people.csail.mit.edu/rahimi/helmet/

Samhain_Moon - to a certain extent I do as well
The prevailing channels of thought in regards to our origins seem entrenched in either a supernatural being did it, or it happened naturally. What about outside influence by another race of beings or a propagating event of some sort?

Gomedome....I think the idea of alien influence has a lot of merit!

Samhain_Moon - I've had this happen before
It is probably something as simple as both of us having been influenced subliminally by the same stimuli. Or it could be alien mind beams from space, I haven't worn my tin foil helmet for a few days, how about you?

franciscan - c'mon, you can do it - against all odds, a thought is forming
"if David Copperfield can make himself invisible . . . . . " . . . we await what we know will be deeply profound, awash with anticipation.

Gomedome, This is scary. I sat down earlier and wrote about 1/2 of a rough draft of a post which incorporated some of the same material you used (about how much things have changed in terms of our physical well being as a result of inventions - computers, autos, penicillin, electricity, etc.) It too was about creation. It was about the nature of man and the challenges man faces. (not exactly the same as yours but, parallel enough to give me metaphorical goose bumps when I read yours) I decided to walk away from it - at least for now. I took a nap, screwed around on the computer and found your post - Jesus! Are you reading my mind or am I reading yours? Scarier still - what if there is only one mind and you and I represent adjacent cubicles in that mind?
