I have finally just stopped dealing with people like her... I mean in life. I know you run into folks you can't avoid, but life is too short to have people in your life that don't make you feel good... or that don't "get it." You know what I mean? The 4th was AWESOME. Four floating barges over the water, sitting at water's edge... twinkling city lights and boat lights, and fireworks exploding EVERYWHERE over the bay. Man, I missed that Denver. I was about 9-years old all night.

Hope yours was great, too.

You're such a sweetheart, thank you. Yeah, I haven't been writing here much lately. It's been hard to get into my schedule right now, and I feel guilty when I do sit down to work on the computer if I even open Blogit. I'm glad ou like this one. Bad circumstances can make good art.

Hi there... welcome. Thanks for reading and leaving a footprint! Yes, it is true, isn't it? Sucks sometimes. A lot of times. But, really those people are the miserable ones in the end, I think. Geez, I hope so! Not the good people!

Yikes.

Welcome! Thank you for reading and leaving a footprint. I'll write as much as I can, but I write for a "living" (I say since I'm still building a client list) and it's hectic. I do have a body of work here extending two years back. Just kick on the dates on the calendar on the main page of "no mercy" or at the page numbers on the bottom here. I am told I have prose poetry and poetic prose... hmmm ... maybe I can't pick a genre? ... lol... Never was one for rule.

Yes, it is kind of sad. Especially when you think someone is a very good friend and you felt you were a good friend to them. Nothing happened that could have been talked out, but her life is a mess and she is her own "pay back" so to speak. I'll just let her be childish and look like a fool, meanwhile I'll keep doing what I'm doing and making my life work.

I try to calm
myself when dealing with people who infuriate me by saying exactly what you said in your last lines. I know how hard and frustrating it can be though. Great poem, and I hope you and Eddie are having a nice 4th of July

Thanks for your poetry composed so well, and for the story(ies) it tells.
I am a prose writer, mostly, but I love good poetry, too. Please do continue writing. I will read and enjoy!
