astraldreamer, I think of myself as the vice principal of my classroom. I
rarely write up, unless it is a personal injury, or something that threatens the safety or health of others. My YHT Learning Center blog is filled with many of my ideas. Glad to pitch in when I can.

You are amazing!
I wish I had your dedication and talent for dealing with challenging children. I'm a teacher myself and ashamed to say I seem to have to strategy other than yell until I write up. I'm casual so I find that ignoring children's behaviour usually lands me with no work. When I started teaching I wnated to do excactly what you are doing, but I never made it. I tried , but the kids always seemed to get the better of me.

Avonna, it was incredible to see her finish the 8th grade and register for
classes in the 9th. True to form she refused to attend 8th grade graduation. That would have been giving her parents something. She still can't do that!
